RAC Director, Peter Danks has been appointed to the Agriculture, Environment and Animal Care Route Panel at the Institute for Apprenticeships.
The Institute for Apprenticeships was established in April 2017 as a new independent employer-led body responsible for ensuring the high quality of apprenticeship standards.
The remit of the Institute, which is an arm’s-length body of the Department for Education, is to ensure the development of high quality apprenticeships so they are viewed and respected as highly as other education routes.
The route panels are made up of sector experts, and are responsible for setting the standards of knowledge, skills and behaviours needed by employers for every occupation in England. The panels will review and recommend apprenticeship standards and assessment plans, and advise on funding levels on behalf of the Institute.
